Built for programmes that need more than standard transaction data

Thredd's data reporting services give issuers the detail that drives better decisions, lower costs, and stronger compliance.

  • Reduce interchange costs on qualifying B2B transactions
  • Simplify expense reporting and reconciliation for corporate clients
  • Access enriched data across Visa and Mastercard in one place
  • Meet greening and regulatory reporting requirements for fleet programmes
  • Strengthen fraud prevention with richer transaction detail

Level 1, 2 + 3 data sharing

Standard transaction data only tells part of the story. Level 2 and Level 3 data sharing captures the detail that corporate programmes need, and that most processors can't deliver in a single, normalised format.

Thredd Icon

Cross-scheme data, one report

Receive Level 2 and Level 3 data from Visa, Mastercard, and Discover in a single normalised report, with no separate integrations per scheme.

Thredd Icon

Multiple delivery channels

Access enriched data via XML batch report, API, or directly in the Thredd Portal, whichever fits your operations.

Thredd Icon

Consistent format across channels

The same fields, in the same format, across reports, user interfaces, and API, with no reconciliation overhead between channels.

Thredd Icon

Linked to original transactions

Every enhanced data record is traceable back to the original authorisation or presentment, keeping reporting clean and auditable.

Thredd Icon

Broad transaction type coverage

Supports passenger transport, vehicle rental, lodging, fuel, and corporate fleet, the categories that matter most to B2B and B2G programmes.

Visa Fleet 2.0

Fleet card managers are moving away from closed-loop, single-network solutions, and the market is responding slowly. Visa Fleet 2.0 gives Thredd clients an open-loop fleet and mobility card solution that covers fuel, EV charging, and non-fuel purchases in one programme, with the enriched transaction data and spend controls to match.

Thredd Icon

Open-loop fleet card support

Issue Visa Fleet 2.0 cards accepted at any Visa-accepting fuel and charging station, with no closed-loop network restrictions.

Thredd Icon

Fuel and non-fuel spend controls

Set product-level controls and velocity limits across fuel, EV charging, parking, maintenance, and other fleet spend categories.

Thredd Icon

EV and multi-mode ready

Support electric vehicles, hydrogen, micro-mobility, and ride-share alongside traditional fuel, all on a single card and within a single payment solution.

Thredd Icon

Fleet L2/L3 data capture

Capture detailed fleet transaction data including vehicle, fuel type, odometer, and charging information for both authorisation and reconciliation.

Thredd Icon

Digital and mobile payment support

Enable contactless, Apple Pay, and Google Pay across fleet card programmes, removing friction for drivers and reducing manual data entry at point of sale.

The Thredd difference

We deliver Level 2 and Level 3 data normalised across Visa, Mastercard, and Discover in a single integration.
And Visa Fleet 2.0 runs on the same platform, so fleet issuers get open-loop network access, enriched mobility data, and spend controls without adding a new vendor or rebuilding their integration.

All three capabilities work within the same Thredd processing environment your programme already runs on.

  • Cross-scheme L2/L3 data normalised across Visa, Mastercard, and Discover — one integration, one report
  • Visa Fleet 2.0 support covering EV, multi-mode, and non-fuel spend — open-loop and digitally enabled
  • Data delivered via batch report, API, or Thredd Portal — consistent format across every channel
  • No additional vendor, no re-integration — all reporting services run inside your existing Thredd setup

Frequently asked questions

  • Level 1 is standard transaction data — merchant name, amount, date. Level 2 adds fields like sales tax and customer reference codes. Level 3 adds line-item detail — items purchased, quantities, unit prices, and shipping data. For corporate and purchase card programmes, Level 2 and Level 3 data enables better expense reporting and, in the US market, can qualify transactions for lower interchange rates.

  • Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Thredd normalises data from all three into a single consistent format — one report, not three separate outputs.

  • Via XML batch report (sFTP), API, or directly in the Thredd Portal. The format and fields are consistent across all three channels.

  • Standard fleet cards are typically closed-loop, tied to specific fuel networks, and limited to fuel-only spend. Visa Fleet 2.0 operates on open-loop Visa rails, supports fuel, EV charging, and non-fuel categories on a single card, and captures detailed transaction data across all spend types — including data required for greening and carbon reporting compliance.

  • Phase 1 is targeted for launch in H1 2026, initially focused on the EU market. Speak to our team about programme readiness and onboarding timelines.
